Subject: She hesitates outside the door..

She'd taken long enough to screw up the courage to make her way to this door, and even now, with the rain pouring down around her like it had that first night she'd come back from Chicago to retreive her boy, she was fighting everything inside of her not to turn around and return to the comfort of her apartment.. or the club - or somewhere else that was anywhere but here. Running fingers through drenched dark locks, she finally raises her fist to knock, shifting nervously from foot to foot.
