His stubby claws fight to gain purchase on the bark as he pulls himself, inch by inch, up the trunk. Reaching the first branch he looks down and gasps, hugging his support for dear life. Bitting the edge of his lip he drags himself along, his one good eye squeezed shut so that he can't see the ground. Once he reaches a spot where the leaves are thick around him, paws colliding with the smaller branches and leaves, he opens his eyes and whispers to Aislinn** oo'd bettah 'urry on up 'ere girl.
