Talem's bow now stretched taunt, waiting for one single order from his newly-found leader, Kinnan. The banvole gritted his teeth angrily as more creatures began appearing in the clearing, standing to back the lady stoat who had first appeared. His good eye finally landed on the badger, changing the direction of his aimed bow and arrow towards the great, hulking beast; the others were dangerous no doubt, but badger could take great numbers to kill, it paid to be ready.
