He is covered in tatoos of teeth, snakes and swords, and is raising his own blade over his head. His bright yellow eyes flash as they take in all around him and he calls out a challenge** 'Ey, you Quanshaire beasts! That's right, you pieces of filthy lard, git over here! Subject Author Date **A compactly built hare with mottled brown and white fur strides into the clearing beside Shaerak. She is young, but obviously pretty well travelled. She gazes for a moment at the group they are attacking and shakes her head** Poor little blightahs, wot? Don't even know wot they're jolly well gettin' into, do they, Shaerak m'lad? **She laughs and pulls out her bow, fitting an arrow to the string and aiming at a nearby beast** Watch this, mate! A leather brown patch covered his left eye and a blue cap sat atop his head, a dark gray cloak concealing all beneath it save for the glint of a short sword and dagger. "An' I b'lieve tis yerselves that don't know what yer gettin' into, yer the ones attackin'." The bankvole suddenly whistled loudly through his front teeth. "Oi Zukki, c'mon wherever y'be! Tis two beasts fer the likes of us!" His own arrow soon flys as well, digging deep into the ground in front of the hare. The bankvole tossed his bow aside, pulling the short sword from its sheath. Keeping his weight balanced between both footpaws he began circling the hare, his ears swiveling for sound of Zukki or the rat. Suddenly he doged forward at a speed normally hard for his species. His good eye focused on his opponent as his short sword was aimed at the hare's fighting paw. The squirrel removes the dart from her blowpipe and grasps the weapon in her right paw, the spearblade at its head facing the rat. Drops from the trees next to Riasa holding his 3 foot long shooter to his mouth and his dagger behind his back inside his emerald cloak. (NT) Zukki EmeraldEyes 22:27:33 03/24/02 Sun **Hears the squirrel babbling about darts, so he wraps his neck with a think piece of cloth and bark, enough to keep the darts at bay, at least for a while** Well, are ya gonna do anythin'? The shadow-like squirrel glides behind a tree and shoots a dart at the rat's footpaw and scampers off to another tree. "Riasa, I do believe yeh'd better move thy tail! Hehe!" (NT) Zukki EmeraldEyes 18:57:37 03/25/02 Mon **She shakes her head at Shaerak as he spits.** Disgusting habit really. **To Zukki** How about you get him to watch his back and I'll get him to watch his front? **Instead of heading for the trees she approaches Shaerak in a fighting stance, blowpipe gripped tightly in her right paw about midway along it's length with the spearhead at it's tip pointed at Shaeraks stomach. The long dagger in her left paw stays up as a parrying weapon for the time being as she lunges forward with the speartip of the blowpipe.** Riasa Lafaryl 20:14:17 03/25/02 Mon "Hahaha, certain;y! Then he grins and puts his back to Cordessa, staning close enough that there is enough room for them both to move, but hardly enough for aimed darts** Heh, one o'th'olderst tricksies in th'book, brush breath! **He gets into a solid fighting stance, blade extended towards the squirrels** (NT) Shaerak 09:10:37 03/27/02 Wed **Still lunging at his gut with the spearhead of her blowpipe.** Riasa Lafaryl 19:40:54 03/27/02 Wed "AGH!" The dagger hit his shooting shoulder. "Ach, no matter, hehe!" Zukki tries to say with a smile while taking out the dagger from his right shoulder. "Won't prevent me form using the rest of my arm!" Tries to unsheath his dagger, but cringes at the pain. His Jukkian spear was too heavy to use now. He uses his left paw to unsheath his two foot long assasins' dagger. "I still got me wits and speed, and I can still cut yeh throat rat!" He looks at Riasa, and winks. "Ahoy matey,let's slay em and get me shoulder tended to! Sooner the beter." His sword rings on contact, but stays steady in his hand. He flies right above the rat and starts to round towards the ground preparing to deal a sweet blow to the rat's back whilest he is distracted. Also in midair, the aquirrel, tho9ugh painlly, clutches the dagger with both hands and prepares to slice right down the rat's back. He thrusts his blade towards Riasa and backs a little bit towards a tree in an effort to protect his back** (NT) Shaerak 15:10:13 04/06/02 Sat **She tries to lunge sideways to her left to get away from the thrust while bringing her blowpipe around in an effort to deflect it but gasps as the blade pierces her right upper arm, leaving a trail of blood. She jumps backwards to get the blade out of her arm and pushes it a little away with her blowpipe, her grip on the weapon somewhat loosened. Then she aims a thrust with her long dagger at his midsection.** Riasa Lafaryl 19:00:49 04/06/02 Sat **He parries the thrust to his middle and steps to the right. His paw trails to his right side, which is bleeding a little more than before. He raises his sword and quickly lunges towards Riasa, aiming for her already hurt arm** (NT) Shaerak 19:34:25 04/06/02 Sat **She sinks lower into a sumo stance, stepping back a bit with her right footpaw. She brings her dagger up overhead and to the right to block the sword and then slashes at his fingers underneath gripping his weapon. He pauses and shakes his paw for a second before leaping forward again, bringing a thrust towards her midsection, ready to jump away again as soon as his blade stirkes** (NT) Shaerak 23:16:41 04/08/02 Mon OOC:sorry, I was bussay! BIC: "Hehehehe! Got yer yeh narly vermin! Now to put you doawn for good!" Sheaths his dagger and throws his shooter behind his neck on the crimson rope. He then unfurls his tail and reveals a Jukkian spear that is in two pieces. He pulls it out and swings it around. He then catches it and pushes it together and screwing it in place. You couldn't tell it was even in two pieces. "ARGH!" He then pulled out a bandana and shoves it in his mouth as to bite down on because of the pain. "YerrrGowwerrrnTerrrr FallllTerrrdayyyMmmm!" The pain shot through his right arm but stayed steady enough. He then jabbed at the rat's already bleeding side. Zukki EmeraldEyes 17:11:42 04/09/02 Tue **She jumps to the side in an attempt to dodge the blow and beings her dagger back around. However she is not quite quick enough and the sword leaves its trail along her left side. Suddenly seeming to remember her blowpipe she thrusts it at his knee. Riasa Lafaryl 23:06:00 04/09/02 Tue **Is unable to fend off the double attack. The blowpipe hits his knee and he jerks back. He had tried to dodge the spear, but when he knee recoils, he turns back into the spear thrust. His knee doubles and he grasps his side with his left paw, still gripping his sword with his right** (NT) Shaerak 13:22:28 04/11/02 Thu "Urmph...." The pain is building and his wounded is growing. "Tarrrrk dis!" Bites harder on the bandana. He thrusts again at the upper middle of the rat's back, hoping to deal a fatal or at least paralyzing blow. Zukki EmeraldEyes 13:29:44 04/14/02 Sun **Manages to turn in time to parry the blow to his back, but just barely. It still catches his right shoulderblade, and he stumbles forward towards Riasa** OOC: I'm going to "fall" soon, I'll write in a death if you want, but I don't want to really kill of this character, so don't get all upset if you encounter him at some other club somewhere down the line. Thanks! (NT) Shaerak 12:30:57 04/16/02 Tue **As Shaerak stumbles towards her she thrusts her long dagger out, hoping to meet just below his ribs. A small snarl escapes her lips as the sharp movement causes the wound along her left side to split open.** (OOC: Sounds fine to me. I've done similar for my old favourite characters.
