OOC: We actually had 3 people all suggest the same thing, and since we liked it so much, we're going to go ahead with... BIC: I am pleased to announce the Quanshaire Memorial Tournament of Champions! We are holding a series of competitions for all who wish to enter in honor of our late commander, Quanshaire. **Bows his massive head for a moment, then looks up again, a glint of excitement in his dark brown eyes** I will first announce the competitions, and then the rules. You may compete in:
1. Archery
2. Climbing
3. Swimming
4. Swordplay and dueling
5. Lying (i.e. who can tell the biggest fib)
6. Ground Jousting with Staves
7. Wrestling
8. Boxing
9. Cammoflauge
10. Disguising
The rules are as follows:
1. You may participate in any event, under the appropriate section. Some events (climbing, swimming) have different sections for beasts who swim or climb naturally, and for those who have acquired the skill elsewhere.
2. You may participate in as many events as you like (OOC: as long as you are not swimming across the river and shooting an arrow at the target at the same time. If you are in two competitons taking place at the same time, finish one first and then take your turn at the other)
3. (BIC) No sabatauging others attempts. We are mercenaries, not heathens, and we have some dignity and class, so play fair.
4. (OOC) As usual, no auto-ing during things like sword fights and duels, as well as all the other usual rules of ROC RPing.
(BIC) The events will be judged by the leaders, and each event will be led by one of the leaders according to what they specialize in. The first events will be Climbing, led by Astirana; Archery, led by Favre; Boxing, led by Tatanshan; and Dueling, led by yours truly. Let the Tournament begin!
