You become curious, and step warily forward to read the inscription -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to Stone Valley, where silent battles still rage. Come, join the battle of the Light and the Dark, and fulfill you destiny! The battle between the Light and the Dark began many centuries ago, when the very first rulers, Marbled Stone and his mate, Jeweled Elegance, had twin colts. They decided to name them Stone of Elegance and Sparkling Stones. Stone of Elegance, called Stone, was blacker than midnight, while Sparkling Stones, called Sparkler, was a silvery, sparkling grey. Stone, as he grew, began to resent his brother and his parent's favoritism for him, so he began plotting to murder his parents so that he could kill Sparkler and rule forever in Stone Valley. The time came. Stone was strong enough. He waited until his parents were in a glen, now called Bloodstone Glen, and attacked. He would have failed, had he not had the aid of his followers. After a long and tiresome battle, Stone was victorious. When Sparkler found out his brother's deed, he wasted no time in gathering those on his side and dividing the valley into the lands of Light and Dark. Stone and his army fought with ruthless abandon, but Sparkler's every move was carefully calculated, and so he and the followers fo the Light prevailed, and the Dark was forced to live in the lands the Light's generosity provided them with. Now, centuries after, the lands are still divided, though followers of the Dark have been entrusted with many more privledges than ever before, and the rift between Light and Dark is slowly closing with time and the rule of its current Kings, Sapphire Sparkles, of the Light, by Sparkling Stones by Marbled Stone out of Jeweled Elegence, and Stone's Vengence, of the Dark, by Stone of Elegence, by Marbled Stone out of Jeweled Elegence. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that you know Stone Valley's history, you must make your choice.
