Axe chortled again, the same cheerless, bored tone in his voice. "Yes, well, as much as I would love to depart, it appears I still have some unfinished business here." He bowed, arms outstretched, then strode, uncaring, around Storm to come closer to Adam. Kneeling down a few feet beside Storm, Axe sighed and shook his head. "Storm. He is unable to speak at this moment. I have rendered him..." Axe shrugged as his words faded away, turned his attention now to Adam and spoke.
"What in the world are you doing? How old is this.." he inhaled slightly, tasting the old, musty quality on the air, "...This lady? What, twelve? What are you doing with her, Adam? Is she blind to your ways?"
Axe snuck a glance up at Storm, blinked at the weapon she had found. "Well?" he asked simply, reaching out a tentative finger to touch her. "Let me see? May I see?"
