She looks up, her short, black hair framing her face, her silver eyes reflecting the words on the computer screen. "Trust is a hard thing to get, even harder to keep, and easy to lose." she answers, quietly. "I was a bounty hunter, never mind why, before I came here. I found a life here. I left, returned to my own galaxy, to hunt a few more bounties. I became a very rich woman, even though you can't tell by looking at me. But then I got a bounty on my own head, so... I came home." she looks over at the sleeping Yungutac, "I met Yungutac not long after I first arrived. The first thing he tried to do was capture or kill me. Back then, he was a rebel, and I was a Fed. But... my father came, and changed things, for better and for worse. I killed my father, and Yungutac and I became lifelong friends. I then defected to the Rebels. The Feds were a wee bit too high and holy for my taste. Same as the government in my galaxy, although the Feds are just wannabes. No where nearly as corrupt or evil as the Empire. Or, should I say, 'Empires'. There's three. The old one, which was defeated, but is still alive, though barely, then there was Grand Admiral Thrawn's Empire, but he was assassinated, so it's slowly, very slowly, dissipating. Now, there's the New Empire, which is basically run by warlords. Then, there's the New Republic, offspring of a rebellion the rose up during the Old Empire. They pretend to be in control, but it's a weak facade. I go where the fighting is. I can't stand peace and quiet. A little of it is ok, I suppose."
She looks at Yungutac again. "I wonder how he sleeps. I guess it's easy when you have a clear mind. Or at least, a desensitized mind."
Suddenly, she stops talking, and turns back to the laptop, closing it down.
