"Hrm... good to meet you Rach. Well since we're both new here I'll let you in on something. I took the opportunity of collecting some information from an... old friend while I was on route here. If you are interested I can give you a run down on what is going on around about these parts for say... 50 credits." Frowning he looks around the station in either direction before looking back a Rach "Oh why not! I'll give it too ya fer free. Currently there are two power blocs in the region. The Federation and the Alliance. These two are currently engaged in some kinda fighting that seems to be going back and forth with no clear victor yet. The Feds are on Venhydra and the Rebels, those alliance guys, are on Tanari. But you could find that out by looking at any old public dataterm round here. My info says, and this may be old news or not mind you, that the Alliance Pres has been captured and that the feds are moving full force to reclaim Venhydra which the Alliance took from 'em not too long ago. The way I see things you got three choices. Work fer the Feds and be on the team that looks to have the upper hand right now, work fer the Rebels and fight fer the current underdog, or work fer yerself and milk this baby fer all the cred you can get. (takes a drag from his cigarello) You look to me like a more of a free thinker... so personally I would recommend doors 2 or 3 eh. Hope that clears things up some."
With that Ferguson finishes his cigarello and tosses the stub into a nearby potted plant. He looks back at the pair and smiles, obviously pleased with himself.
