Subject: PACHECO/GARCIA CONNECTION

Hello,

My name is Isac J. Pacheco Jr and I am originally from Fort Worth,Texas.

My paternal grandfather(Fernando Pacheco-born 1885 in Reventadero(near Panuco),Veracruz,Mexico married my grandmother Maria Demetria Garcia(born 1895 0r 96 in Silos,SanLuis Potosi,Mexico),daughter of Doanaciano Garcia and Cornelelia Loredo.

Fernando was the son of Domingo Pacheco and Fransisca(maiden name?).

I have just started my family tree and continually run into a brick wall when researching Fernando's lineage. He and Demetria owned property in Ft. Worth, Texas at the time of their deaths, she in 1969, he in 1973. I am unable to find public records for either one of them other than their names listed on birth records for many of their eleven children, including my father Isac Sr.

I have been told that someone related to Fernando headed "west" around the early 1900's. I have found another Isaac(note the extra "a" in Isac) from California. Not sure if there is a connection here. I was told that New Mexico was a more likely place where this "reletive" settled. There are MANY Pacheco's in New Mexico.

I would appreciate any help you might be able to provide. I thank you in advance for your time.

Respectfully,

Isac J. Pacheco Jr.
