Subject: Illegitimate Son (Alexander) of Margaret Douglas

Margaret DOUGLASS b. 179? NC, (d. of Wm DOUGLASS & Margaret STROUD, Va,NC,& TN) had a son Alexander listed as illegitimate in Wm DOUGLASS'S 1814 will (Tn). She was married to a HOWELL, then to a REDNER, but no Alexander is listed with them. Does anyone know what happened to him? Did he go by DOUGLASS or HOWELL?
