Christopher Guest on 1820 Census in Smith Co Tennessee

Can anyone please tell me anything about the Christopher Guest found in the 1820 Federal Census of Smith Co Tennessee? I am trying to find the parents of my gggrandfather Christopher Gist who was born somewhere in Tennessee in 1804 and married Mary (Polly) McNutt 1824 in Lawrence Co Alabama and later lived in Winston Co Alabama. I am wondering if this Smith County Christopher could be the the father of my gggrandfather. I would really appreciate any information.
