I am searching for info on my father's paternal grandfather.

His name is Jack Ralph Huggins.

He went by the nickname "Dock" or "Doc".

Marriage: 26 JAN 1900 in ,Walton County, Florida;
Spouse: Maggie Lassiter

Her parents: Father: Ezra Lassiter
Mother:Liza Williamson, AKA Elizabeth"Polly"
Williamson
He is listed on the1920 Walton Co. Census with his family. Calvin is
my father's father.

Also Calvin is listed on the 1945 Walton County census with his
family. His wife is Queen Elizabeth Whitehurst. Her parents were William
Whitehurst and Laura Elizabeth Covington.

Ted is my father.

His actual name is Wayne Cortez.

Gertrude is actually Alice Gertrude.

Willie Henry is actually Willis Henry.

They had one more son named Jimmy Lynn. I am not sure if he was born
in Walton County.

He also used the name Johnny Leon or Johnny Lynn.

Anyway to get back on track...I have hit a dead end with Dock. Family
rumor has it that he is from the North or South Carolina area and he
either left there with his family or solo as a result of a family fued
that involved a shooting(s) & possibly a killing(s).

Dock & Maggie moved to the central Florida area with some of their
children. They are both buried here in Lake Wales, Florida area.

His grave reads Ralph Huggins and hers reads Maggie M. Huggins.

Any info you can lead me to would be greatly appreciated.
