dealy risner higgins was my great-grandmother. she died jan. 13th, 1969 in stockbridge, mi. she was survived by 3 childen at the time. elizabeth collins of willard oh, zona mae dowds near portsmouth, oh and everidge arnett of mi. elizabeth was my grandmother. her dad was lark risner. she was born in 1907 but her dad died before she was born. can't find any info on him. found an article where a sarah risner was killed by a boyfriend in 1923. said her parents were lark risner and dealy arnett. my aunt confirmed this story. she also said one of her daughters died during child-birth and dealy raised the child. i only have one memory of seeing dealy when i was 4 or 5 years old. my dad was raised in stockbridge til he was a teenager. i have the guest book from dealys funeral. no mention of her parents. if i find out more i'll reply back.
