My grandfather was from Delphos, Ohio -which is also in Allen County. I do not know much about the Eiche family history as my grandfather, Clarence Eiche, died at the age of 23 and the Eiche family history was not passed down to us. I do know that Clarence's father's name was Lewis and that they are both buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos. My grandmother's name was Isabel Gorrell Eiche. She moved to Indiana after Clarence's death with her two young children. I do know that my grandfather had several brothers and maybe a sister -and it seems that he may have had a brother named Leonard who also died in 1929. I too would appreciate any history of this family. I am sure they were somehow connected.
