HELP! Any Info on GGGgrandfather Samuel Moses Meadows

I can find virtually no records for my gx3grandfather. His name was supposed to be Samuel Moses Meadows according to a deceased relative who years ago saw an old family bible. I don't know where this bible is now. I've looked in everything ancestry.com has and other search sites as well. His son was William Brown Meadows for whom I have found a few records. Two census records for William say his father was born in Virginia. So given that and William's birthdate, his father should have been born prior to 1800, in Virginia. Samuel's wife was supposed to be Barbara C. (Barbary)Adams daughter of Peter Beech Fork Adams. She was listed on the census as born in Kentucky. Given that and that the five (known) children of Samuel and Barbara were born in Ky., it would appear that as a child or young man Samuel must have moved to Kentucky. One of Samuel's daughters, Sarah, married an Asbury Lanham and the 1860 census record shows Barbara Meadows, widow age 62 living with her daughter's family. I have found 2 pedigree submissions on the LDS Familysearch site that refer to Barbara Adams being married to either Samuel Meadows or Soundwell Meadows. which says his birth was about 1800 and death about 1830. There were no records provided supporting this. This is all I have found after much digging. I need to know his parentage,and anything else any one might know.
