Subject: Livingston Potter of Searcy County Arkansas

Looking for burial place or burial records of Livingston Potter of Searcy County Arkansas. Livingston Died around 1888. He served in 45th infantry and the 32nd infantry CSA.
There is a long out of print book named Legends and folklore of Searcy County AR the book states he was killed by Jayhawkers around 1863 in Searcy County AR. This story is close to accurate however the person we believe was killed was Malachi Potter his brother. I am the great grandson of John Wesley Potter who is one of livingstons Sons. John Wesley Potter SR.Was born in 1874 in Searcy County AR. The story can not be accurate since my great grandfather was born in 1874 in Searcy county AR. John Wesley Potter SR died in seminole County OK in November of 1973 and is buried in the Holdenville Cemetary Hughes county OK. I have John Wesley Potter SR application for social security dated in 1943 and he lists his father as Livingston Potter and his Mother as Mary Jane Looney both of Searcy County AR. If any one has any info I would be grateful.
Thanks
Jim Potter
