Subject: Haefners in Illinois - Philip J and Paul J

My grandfather was Paul Joseph Haefner (1900-1965). He was born in Chicago, IL and died in Freeport, IL. I cannot find anything on him. I have a copy of his death certificate and that is about all the info I have. He was married to Erma Catherine Yeager (1918-1987) and they were divorced in 1944. Paul did remarry but I have no idea when, where or to whom. I would love to be able to find more information on him. My father believes that he has 1/2 siblings out there.

My great grandfather (father of Paul above) was Philip J Haefner. All I know about him is that he married Anna Savage (1870-1956) on December 7, 1897 in La Salle County, Illinois. I would also love to find more information on him.

Any help would be appreciated as well as ideas of where to look.
