Subject: MORRISON (SCOTLAND)

I am desperately seeking information on my 3 x great grandfather RODERICK MORRISON/MORISON. I have no idea where in Scotland but I do know he was reported to being a shepherd (deceased) on his son John's marriage cert in 1865. I do know that her was a cabinate maker but don't know if he was trained in Scotland or England where he married. There have been searches made for RODERICK but it revealed the wrong one from Elgin in 1842 to JANET LESLEY. It is entirely possible that my 3 x Great grandfather was married to JANET McEWAN.
