Looking for my elusive grandfathers

I have been looking for information about both my grandfathers. My Maternal one was named Rubi Highland Eckman. He was born abt.1881 I believe in Missouri, but not sure. The last I have of him is a 1910 census of Walla Walla, washington. He married Hattie Markley 1/Jan/1911 in Rolla, Mo.He left my grandma and her 2 children in Montana where they were homesteading land after 1917 but before 1920. No information about him can be found after that.My paternal grandfather was Francisco Garza born in Mexico abt 1876. He married Isabel Villarreal and had my dad in 1909 in Laredo, Tx. There is nothing about him after about 1920. Any help would be great. He worked on the King ranch in texas and was supposed to have riden with Pancho Villa as well.
