Marist is first of three winnable home games.
Sweep is very unlikely, as the club is young and inconsistent and three in a row is a lot to ask.
However, there is a reasonable chance SPC can vault over both Loyola and Iona (along with Marist and Canisius) IF they sweep the three....would be a major accomplishment, to say the least. Coming out of the Monmouth Gym this December....who'd have thunk it??

More than anything, what I'm looking for tonight is a winning attitude. I hope this team has the beginnings of some swagger. Marist stinks on the road and we should beat them. I hope the team starts to get that killer instinct. We're a better defensive team than than they are an offensive one. That advantage should hold. Again, what I'd like to see is the Peacocks enforce that advantage. Go out and beat this team!

One key is keeping Ryan out of foul trouble and at the same time defending Ryan Schneider, who is a very good scorer, rebounder and, importantly, free-throw shooter. Marist also shoots a lot of threes, so if those are falling, anything can happen.

Also, look for Wes to have a bunch of steals today.
