Something dirty at Binghamton transpired and the kid had no clue that both the style of play and personell would not give him the on the job training he was quoted as desireing.

Funchess on the other hand plays in the Bronx and is seduced by the Fordham mystic. Convinicing him that he would be nothing more than a fill in role player at Fordham or any other higher school. I have come to the conclusion that these so called higher level schools must use a superior type of wood in their bench as many of these kids just love to sit at the higher level.

Sometimes it's hard to figure why kids seem to always choose the supposedly higher level program where they won't play over almost definite playing time at the level they belong at. Many times it's the constant on their ear from so called friends and advisors with no real clue of the situation as to how good they are and that they will rise to the top at the higher level program.
We have seen it so many times at SPC that i now expect when any team from a higher level conference offers we will lose out even when the team os the doormat of the higher league with no hope of ever turning it around as seems the situation at Fordham.
As to Sutton,no question it seems he was tampered with by the advisers and assistant coach who steered him there. It sure looks like he won't see the light of day there. Hope he likes the weather and the wonderfull big city feel of Binghamton.
