Subject: 'Tis the Season to Be Jolly

So I'm not going to fill in all the dreadful details. I'll let SPCfan and Peacock with whom I was sitting do that, I'd only make myself miserable thinking about this uninspired performance against a 1-11 team.
But strong teams have bad nights, when one of the weak teams has a bad night,it gets ugly.
An effort anywhere near that of those against Canisius or the Hall would have resulted in a W.
Understandably,Wesley struggled.I don't know why so many of the others did.
I expect them to recover against FDU. I realize,I'm probably in a small minority...we'll see. If they don't much darker days could be ahead.

Crawford, you have no credibility. You refuse to see the forest for the trees. Not that it is worth anything but I will no longer read your dribble since it is all nonsense. The team struggles because they are not a good team and the coaching is also bad.You no longer know what a good or improving team looks like,it has been so long. I also have trouble remembering, but I do know that the last 3 seasons the team has been BAD.

You obviously have a problem with reading comprehension.

Cindy, the key word in your post, from my perspective, is "uninspired".

A frosh/soph laden team can be forgiven for the occasional clinker due to inexperience and premature exposure to D1 ball.....it's inevitable.

However, I do expect this young team would be eager and play hard almost every night. Tonight and against Wagner, the effort (and result) were deplorable.

The talent level is so thin at this point that anything other than a top effort will leave us short of being competitive....and we were never in the game against the worst Monmouth team I have ever seen.

What is there to say that hasn't been said?....it is painful to watch this club play and, if I were running the show, after this effort, our Coach would be placed on "double secret probation". :>(

"The talent level is so thin at this point that anything other than a top effort will leave us short of being competitive...."

Right on the money, Loyal; you hit the nail on the head and this is the crux of the problem: lack of skilled talent!!
