Background shows Bennett is from Long Island and also played one year at Laurinberg Prep in North Carolina,high end prep program.Was first team all conference in Juco last year as a frosh. This year team is 13-2 leads team in steals and averages approx 11ppg through first half of season

Good job guys (SPC Fan, Gray Poll). Not inclined to rely on reports too heavily but Gray's comment is interesting. We have enough slashers/defensive players in Gooding and Costner. What we need is a pure shooter even at the expense of that player being a sort of spot up guy.

However, none of us knows who is available out there and wants to come to SPC. Bottom line is that we need some scoring options aside from Wesley, Nick and the emerging Ryan Bacon. On the positive side, if the kid can move and pass that will help get the ball inside to Ryan and Conley (?). Guess were are jumping the gun a bit. We are now outside the NLI signing window which will open again around the end of March. Thus everything is verbal until then.
