Subject: a bump in the road

Not a very good effort tonight . Ryan tried like heck in his 22 minutes ( 4 pf ) . 15 points , 5 blocks , 7 rebounds ,2 assists and a steal . He also held Benson in check .But other than Akeem who tried to the buzzer , Ryan did not get a helluva lot of support from some who seemed to almost lose interest . Nick had hot start keeping us in it for a while and the stats showed him with nine rebounds . Wesley did not heve good game . He had couple of good passes that were not converted but then a couple bad TOs and less than an all out effort to this viewer . On to Canisius where we need W to confirm progress .

Few if any thought we had much of chance at the Falls, but we are probably a better team than Canisius. The trouble is that the upstate NY trip, especially the second stop, is always a huge problem for all the MAAC teams. I am hopeful but not optimistic about tomorrow

Have the same feeling as Gray Poll.

On the positive side

1) We are a better team than Cansius
2) Ryan Bacon may get to see more than the
22 minutes he played against Niagara.Should
be able to stay out of foul trouble as CC's
bigs are not Niagara's

On the negative side

1) Nick and Wes have been playing well over 30
minutes all year. How much gas is left in the
tank?
2) We are the one team everyone thinks they can
beat. CC needs a win as bad as we do.
3) Our bench is not only short but contributes
little if anything. Some of these players
will have to step up.
4) Road game

Unknowns

1) Which Wesley will show up? He plays hard all
time as evidenced by his rebounding and
steals but he is a streaky shooter.
