Since I'll assume that this is a legitimate post I'll give but one example that many are aware of. Building support for athletics is extremely hard. Just look at attendance at not only our games but other schools throughout the metropolitan area. A student club called the Peacock Nation has been formed and their success at helping bring fans out for the Seton Hall game, with all the t-shirt giveaways and other events demonstrates a step in the right direction. While this is small in itself talks have begun with the academic side of SPC to have this as a forerunner to the consideration of adding "other" possible majors at the college. A Sports Management major as well as Physical Therapy are among several under consideration. Whether this ever materalizes is anyone guess but the seeds are being planted. If, and I say if, we ever added Sports Management to our academic offerings, it could prove extremely valuable for athletics and especially recruiting. Too early to get excited but, at least , the thinking is in the right direction. It is my understanding that PE is in the forefront of these concepts. Just one example.
