Agreed!Have heard many first hand reports that he was the top true point and defensive player in the area--better at the position than his counterparts at Linden and St Pat's to mention two.A pass first, shoot second, unselfish role player. His 7+ assists per game probably would have been higher had he played on a team with players who could finish.
Two of the best Peacock PGs ever ,Jasper Walker and Kevin Boyle were not great shooters.
Marvin Andrews, probably our best defender ever, and his teammate Tony Walker( a transfer from Kean) were not highly recruited.
Let's not get too down on the kid before we see him on the floor.
Lastly, I hope no other recruits read this board--the negativism couldn't be helpful.Unless of course they want Dunne to fail.I suspect that is the agenda for some.

Excellent points Cindy. Hard to be negative on Brandon's signing. A true point guard with a reputation as both a defensive player and assist man. Seems to fill two needs, if he can perform at this next level. Always a big if especially for mid-major recruits. However, not a bad choice on first impression. Looking forward to seeing Brandon play.

As posted below the problem is not understanding what our needs are but rather SIGNING those players we target. Will be interesting to see who the next signee(s) is.

I too like this signing. It's clear to anyone who watched the games on a consistent basis we need another guard especially at the point.Leon cannot play the position and i doubt they want to commit to Lampley fulltime .I think Leon is better served as a sub off the bench at both the 1 and 2 spots.Lampley can compete with Hall for the point guard spot . If anyone leaves we should bring in a scoring three man and another big at the 5.

I like your analysis. Makes a lot of sense to me.
