Curious -- Peacock, Tuesday, July 15, 01:20:44pm [1]
Why the comment "The bet is on Sutton signing elsewhere." I have two separate contacts that have talked to the kid personally after the decommitt and his comments support what you said prior to the above quote, but also indicates that SPC is still his favorite. It is going to take some explosive offer to sway him and then he just might find out what bench work is all about at the higer level if you are raw.
Also what does the phrase "if the appropriate parties can view more attentively" mean?

To repeat -- Sludge, Tuesday, July 15, 07:20:32pm [1]
I said the kid favors us. No need to continue to argue the merits for him to play here. Maybe taking too much of a cynic view but, even as you point out, the advisors for their benefit, are likely either telling him he can play higher and/or for a better program. Compromises are made, some not so pretty, and which often come back to bite you.
As to the second part; it is not meant to suggest that the Admissions staff should act with favor, but rather in a more responsive manner in arriving at their decisions.
Enough said. Let's hope for Sutton's sake (and ours), that he is able to judge for (and act), in his best interests. Expect you will hear something by the end of this month.
