Figgy, your observations couldn't be more accurate or on target. Sometimes we can get caught up in game by game analysis. The big picture indicates that both Jenkins and Bacon will be the nucleus of any team of the future. Leon and Lampley are OK but not the stuff of prime time players. I still hold hopes for Gooding as his playing the #4 sort of sacrificed his game for the team. Still needs that 8-10' jumper but his defense and athleticism (eye opening dunk against Siena) still leave him as a future possibility.

With regard to the Staff and Coach I'll simply say that I have more confidence in their performamnce next year than I do in some of our players. Not trying to bad mouth the current squad. Many are hard workers and have not thrown in the towel. However, talent is talent and our needs are obvious.

You are dead on; we will miss Todd big time next year, especially his rebounding.

If "experts" like us recognize how important replacing his board play will be, you can bet Dunne and his staff realize they MUST get Bacon some help on the Boards.

Of course, that is easier said than done.
