"I must return- not for good, but to speak to Mercury..." She ducks her head, "She was so good to me; she swore her loyalty to me, and I to her...but then I left." She chokes up a bit, thinking of the mare's harsh, but true, words in the joining valley. "I must explain to her why I did what I did- Fire surely wouldn't have me on his side, after all that..." She lets her voice trail off, and then begins anew, "Not only does she deserve an explanation, but I need her counselling. Oh, Dusk... You know not of how wise she truly is; it's something I've always been able to rely upon. I need this..." She sighs, calming her ever-pleading voice, then adds, "But I will wait until Legacy has made his decision..."
