. . .he got hit squarely and he reared back upon wild pinions thrashing his jagged forehooves out at the stallion viciously, when he landed after a few strikes he caught sight of the mare kicking out towards his daughter, he then lept forwards snapping hard at the mares haunches in warning for her to keep away, he kept his body close to the mare pushing her away snorting loudly. . .
