**She slides to a stop w/ a toss of her elagent head. She nickers and rears. She paws the air and shakes her head. When she lands she favores her front right hoove. Her black body shivers and catches the bright sunlight. She limps over to the pond and gets a drink. She lays down on her side too exhausted to eat. She nickers again.**
