Her absent reverie, pounding with the rythym of her movements, in concert with the rolling of the desert dunes, is broken by his bold trumpet. Her thoughts snap to the present once again, the here and now, as she remembers... She had been following the depressions of his hooves... With a spray of flying sand, she comes to a halt, copper tresses swirling round her tensed body as she shifts her hindquarters once again, to face the beast... Surprise, a gentle whisper through her body sends, for here... Here was Shetan, the great stallion of the desert... She sends a whicker, tinged with deep respect, in response to his bugle...
