Her heart jumps at Argon's motionless body, but she could not panic and allow herself to be swayed from her immediate task. Gripping the stud's saddle, she releases him from its hold upon his body, enabling him to rise. Taking his reins, she loosens them enough for him to get his head and stand on his own. Dark eyes have already wandered to Argon, and she drops by his side, pulling his face clear of the sands and shielding him with her body.* Argon...please come back to me...

*the mare dances near the entrance to the cavern, uncertain. She longs to gallop from this enclosed space, to find the black stud and her mistress, but instinct warns her away from venturing out during such a storm. Instead she utters a shrill cry, shying as it echoes through the caves...*
