The pair halt as the stallion passes, the one watching in awe, the other somewhat unnerved by the presence of the wild desert stallion... The princess has seen him before, she was sure, with a visitor at the palace... And tales, also, she had heard, of his wild nature, free as the wind itself, untamed, untamable... She watches his departure, not following, happy for the simple gift of seeing his fantastic form...

The gelding prances slightly, to be stilled by his rider's touch, not sure of how to react to the renowned beast... If he were still whole, perhaps he would have known, and been more vehement in his objections to their halted state, for he was still unacustomed to this new rider's feel, and did, on occasion, seek to test her...
