Subject: ::Small Caravan approaches...::

The small caravan approaches the bazaar, a jumble of horses, riders, wagons, camels, and other asundry items, entering the city. Two covered litters pull to the front, slaves setting them down carefully and constructing an awning of canvas to shade the occupants. The curtains part and a small line of women file forth. They stand in a neat row under the awning, soft skin still unburnt. The slaves lead the string of horses up, tying them beside the awnings. Tables are erected, silks, perfumes, jewelry, silver, and many, many other items are laid forth. The caravan master, Dammar, finally dismounts, seating himself in a chair erected under the awnings by the slaves. His slaves go throughout the city, hawking the merchant Dammar's wares..

"Silk! Jewelry! Perfume! Horses! Women! Spice! Dammar has it all!" they call.

(none of the horses have players.)
(all are desert-bred)
(we have more than just these...)
(please don't buy them all...)

The first horse is a magnificient desert-bred Turkamene stallion, though he requires three handlers to keep control of him. A beautiful ebon color, with a single star marking his forehead, the stallion trumpets and snorts, rearing.
Eblis ("devil") appears to be about five, though he was just recently captured. He is tall for a Turk, standing almost 16 hands. He is no easy ride, that's for sure.

The second is a docile grey mare, El-Zarka ("The grey one") stands patiently with her sister, Fahime ("Very intelligent"), a chesnut. Both are by a Sheikh's Barb stallion, out of a wild desert mare. El'Zarka is the eldest, about five years old, her little sister Fahime is only three.

The last three horses tied out front are a bay, a chesnut, and a black. The bay is Ghazale ("deer") for her fleetness, a lanky Arabian. The chesnut, Shams, ("sun") appears heavily pregnant, by a white Arabian stallion, due in a month or so. The black is a fairly docile stallion, though he still rolls his eyes and attempts to rear occasionally. He is Shareek, ("panther"), a sleek Arabian escaped from a neighboring tribe.

(we will only sell two women with players, the first two to go...)
(we have more than just these...)
(please, if you intend on buying more than one, don't buy the first two..)

The women recline on cushions placed there for their comfort, most looking at the ground demurely, but some glare around defiantly. Each has a story, from all over the globe. Beautiful bedouins, exotic europeans, amazing asians, all are present here.

The first, an oriental woman appearing about twenty, smiles warmly and bows, as is her custom. She is a gisha, a trained dancer, named Li. Her skin is still fairly pale, as it hasn't been exposed to the hot sun as much.

The second woman is obviously a bedouin, about sixteen or seventeen. She glares about defiantly, spirit unbroken. Even though Dammar glares at her disapprovingly, she rises and paces like a lion in a cage. Her name is Shabat, arabic for 'young woman'. Her parents didn't name her, so Dammar had to.

The third is Irish looking, though what an irish woman would be doing in the desert is hard to tell. Long, firey hair bound in a long braid wanders down her back, blue eyes piercing, revealing a personality as firey as her hair. She has fading welts across her back, signs of her defiance. Her name is Alainn, Irish for 'beautiful' (pronounced aw-leen).

The fourth woman is definately european, with wavy dark hair and blue eyes. Exotic, for this remote land, she speaks with a French accent. Her name is Elaine, and she appears about twenty. Her eyes are downcast, though her spirit is not fully broken.

The fifth woman is from the far north somewhere, with long, golden hair and blue eyes, which remain downcast. She is tall, standing about 5'8", named Aranae. At about seventeen or eighteen, she is the latest acquisition for Dammar.

Dammar smiles warmly at the passerby, inviting them to come and examine his wares.
