Subject: dachshund for a person with a disability

Please help me be able to help a person with a disability who is suffering from depression. His doctor has said that a companion dog would help to ease his depression, and he loves dachshunds. I do not have the financial means to be able to purchase a dog for him on my own. He has not been able to work for the past 15 years,so he is not able to purchase a dog for himself. I would appreciate any help that you can give concerning this. Thank you. Dianne
