Subject Author Date *Dusk snorts and jumps up quickly almost as if he was going to attack...but simply lowers his head directly in front of hers and says*"Do not dare judge me little one...I dont care what you think of me but after I helped you and your mother you should be thanking me...guess the lights arent as good as they thought they were"*snort and walks over behind a big tree gazing at the dark mountains missing his mother but moreso worried for her and Cobweb* (NT) Dusk 08:00:16 07/30/01 Mon *A shrill squeal of fear echoes from the filly. She trembles entire body shaking in fear at his extreme harshness to her, she is but a foal and this kind of treatment has brought trama. She looks at her mother frightened and tears runs down her tiny face, tears of fear. She turns away from her mother and crawls into the darkness preparing herself just to lay there and die. It seems that no one cares. She shivers from the colt and she shakes fiercely from starvation. She looks at *Dusk* remembering his mean look, and his harsh words. She shivers again and she closes her eyes tears running down her face. She squeaks out one word before starvation and dehydration takes it's toll and makes her fall asleep, and maybe for good.* "Mama." She speaks in a deadly whisper, one hoof cocked. "Don't you ever, ever speak to my daughter that way again, Dusk. Have you forgotten I let you live here upon the mercy ofm y own heart? Or are ye too ungrateful to remember that, little one. Never, ever, ever threaten my daughter. Or it will be the last thing you do here." She whirls and gallops weakly after her daughter, nudging her, tears now streaming down her own face. "Mysteries, Mysteries, shh baby, it's all right. He won't hurt you." She shoots him a look. "I wont let him. Ever. I'd die before I ever let anything happen to you my darling, I love you more than anything ever." She nuzzles the small filly - too small, the result of a premature birth. She nudges her towards her flank, to nurse. She can only pray the filly will, for without it, she will starve.
