Known as the daughter of the Elysium Fields, Elysia embodies the fullness of life after death with a beauty only attainable through immortality. It was not always this way, however, for she was born into the world the daughter of a slave to the great King Anubys of ancient Egypt. She suffered greatly under his hand was made to bear witness to the death of both her mother and father when they would not give him her hand in marriage. As a result, she fled Egypt, and was followed for many months by Anubys' hitmen, lest she should tell his people of the crime committed against her. After seven long years of hiding and fleeing, she was finally able to settle down in Rome, capital city of Italy. She started a family and was able to finally relax. That is, until she came home one day to find her home burned and her family slaughtered. She knew who was responsible for this horrible deed, and, hiding her grief, disguised herself as a bard in order to gain access to the palace of the king she so vehemently despised. By way of her beauty and her song, she was able to slowly make her way up to the top of the hierarchy and to play for the great king himself. One night, when he was relaxing under the lull of her sweet song, she slipped a dagger out of her pant leg and prepared to stab him in the back. However, she found that despite the atrocities he had committted against her and her family, she was not able to kill him in cold blood. So she decided, out of despair, that she would instead kill herself. To this day, Elysia haunts the place where the castle once stood, and her ghostly music can be heard floating across the desert for miles around.
