My birth name is Garret Faladrias III.
There are men who would pay much gold for that information.
My parents were regents over a small plot of land near the elven settlement of Glabados.
A human settlement was not far off, and the humans argued that the land belonged to them.
In order to keep both sides happy, my parents hired a human advisor. He betrayed my parents, and hired a guild of asassins to act as brigands. They kidnapped my younger brother, and in a fit of rage my father accompanied some of his best knights on a quest to kill them. Only one came back, badly wounded to tell us that not only had my fater been killed, but my brother as well. My mother insisted that me and my younger sister Jahiera escape the castle before we, too, were killed. As i left, the asassins came into the castle for my mother. Since then, we have journeyed from asassin's guild to asassin's guild, seeking the ones who had slain the rest of our family. We also picked up a few tricks along the way.
Our journey took us, eventually, to the town of Travance. It was there, outside the tavern, that my sister was slain by a small army of undead. The town came to aid us, but not in time i fear. I am now the last surviving Faladrias. This has brought me to the conclusion that none of the gods exist. If there were good gods, why did my family die? If there is no good gods, then there cannot be evil ones. Evil needs good to counter the balance. Many times I have thought of driving my blade through my heart, but I CAN'T! The bittersweet taste of vengeance will be MINE! Wish me luck.
