Hi Det!

Regis mentioned that Rosie O'Donnell and Kathie Lee Gifford would be on the show too. He mentioned a fourth person, but when I heard David's name I gasped and didn't hear what it was! ;-) I would guess that maybe David Letterman would be on it. Regis has made lots of guest appearances on his show! Perhaps if there are only four celebrity contestants for the full hour it will give everyone a chance to play. It will be funny to see Rosie and Kathie on the show too. Kathie will probably give Regis a hard time. ;-)

If Tea is not in the audience David would probably have her be his phone-a-friend. I am sure she would find the answer in the encyclopedia very quickly. ;-)

Here is the NY Daily News article about what David was doing on Oscar Night:

"Hanks Plays the Loser"

Tom Hanks, who for once wasn't nominated for an Oscar, watched at the elite party by thrown by Dani Janssen.

The fabled hostess and widow of "Fugitive" star David Janssen spent days cooking. But Hanks just picked since he's still trying to lose weight for his next role as a desert island castaway. The actor, who says he has been living on lettuce and cigarettes, was sporting sun-bleached locks and a ginger-colored beard. Also at the dinner were Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Williams, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Springsteen, John McEnroe, Quincy Jones, David Duchovny, Garry Shandling, Dennis Hopper, Michael York, Colin Callender, Jack Valenti and Bobby Zarem.
************
Interesting assortment of people at that party. I'll be seeing Bruce Springsteen in concert in a few weeks. :) Have you seen Tom Hanks with that bushy beard? Most actors would just wear a fake beard for the role, but he likes to get into character. For "Philadelphia" and "Forrest Gump" he lost a lot of weight for the roles. Looks like David got into character too for "Return To Me" by growing his hair out.
