I went to the Full FRONTal premiere and saw DD's BACK!

I met with my friend Jadzia aqain for another premiere; this for the movie Full Frontal. This one was a little different. It was at a small art house theater in Beverly Hills and they didn't have a very advantageous setup for star watching. All the press was there and the area partitioned off for fans was way off to the side and after scoping things out we could tell there was no way we would see much of anything when the stars started arriving so we decided to watch from across the street.

This made things difficult just trying to figure out who was who and most of the time all we saw were the celeb's backs. Kind of ironic for a movie called Full Frontal. LOL

We could see the limos pulling up and hear the photogs yelling out the stars' names so that helped with guessing who was arriving. Some guy from Just Shoot Me arrived as well as Mary McCormick (?) from the film. Also arriving from the film was Blair Underwood and David Hyde Pierce. And this guy with blond hair came and people were yelling "Brad!" Or so I thought. And he had his arm around a shorter blond woman so I'm saying there's Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston. Except then I saw the lady from the side and she looked about 8 months preggers. Jennifer's taking her Rachel role a little too seriously!

OK so it wasn't Jennifer after all nor was it Brad. Told ya we couldn't see well! But he must have been someone because the press was interviewng this mystery man a lot.
Later on Brad and Jennifer did show up. Definately them this time. Brad still has his mountain man look with scraggily hair and full beard that is for a movie he's doing, I hope!

We caught Giovanni Ribisi (DPO) going in quickly to the theater without stopping and Wendy Malick (from FTF) so those were our X-Files connections for the night.
Also arriving was George Clooney! So there were a lot of biggies, we just didn't see them too well.

Then at last David arrives with his date for the evening...Gary Shandling. And David is once again wearing a light blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up. OK this is the third premiere in a row he's had on the same or similar shirt (this one looked at bit dressier) but he's starting to remind me of that woman on Seinfeld who kept wearing the same dress all the time! Weird.

So basically I just watched David's back for a while. His shirt was very wrinkly too. What does he say,
"Tea, where's my premiere shirt?
"In the laundry but it's not ironed"
"That's ok I'll wear it anyway. I gotta wear my official light blue movie premiere shirt!"

???

The shirt hung too low so I didn't get a butt view. hee hee ;-) He had his hands in his pockets a lot and at one point he waved I think because Julia Roberts arrived (man, she's skinny!). Later I did see DD from a profile view. He still has his nice long nose. He had on what looked like grey dress pants. Brown/red? dress shoes.

We had dinner while the movie was on and we were late getting back. We could have gotten real close too and gotten pics. Just about everyone had left already. :-( Julia Roberts got in a car and left, then George Cloney came out and signed some autographs. That was it. I took a picture of him. No David, no Mitch (Jadzia's fave), just dumb ole George Clooney. ;-D

When David had arrived this woman near us who was watching (the event was gathering quite a few passers by) said she met him purely by accident when she first arrived in LA from a small town in Massachusettes. She said he was very nice abned down to earth. So all of you should come here and run into DD.�That seems to be the way to do it!

Well that's all. I will keep you updated on David future wearing of "the premiere shirt" if and when necessary. I'm sure you will all wait with excxited anticipation ;-D
