However, I think everybody already knows my opinion on a Mulderless season of XF; I *REALLY* think they should have ended it as a TV series with "Existance" and gone straight into production of another XF movie. I'd rather be looking forward to seeing Mulder and Scully on the big screen again next summer than having a ninth season of XF and no second movie in the foreseeable future.
To be honest, though, there really doesn't seem to be much media coverage, etc. of XF this year as there has been in years past. I think everybody feels the show has kind of fizzled out.
IMHO, the set-up for Season Nine sounds like some sort of demented version of "Charlie's Angels". You've got an unseen male presence hovering over the show in spirit (Mulder/Charlie); an unattractive middle-aged guy as the actual male lead (Doggett/Bosley or Bosworth. . .whatever that guy's name was) and three women (Scully, Annoying Smiling Agent and Xena, Warrior Princess/Sabrina, Kelly and Jill).
