a most distressing time as you said. I didn't know they grew up in . Somehow I can't imagine that they don't know somebody who was close to the whole thing. I live in a small town and there are two people from here who just happened to be at a conference in DC and were only a couple of blocks away from the Pentagon when it was attacked. Other people I work with have relatives both in DC and in NYC.
