Season 9

I first started watching the Xfiles in 1995 at the beginning of the 2nd season in the uk. Back then, I watched it for the storylines and not for the MSR. But ever since the 4th season, and the scully cancer eps, I been watching it for M and S, as well as the Xfiles.

When season 9 starts (assuming it does), its going to be really weird if Mulder and Scully arent in it. For the 1st 7 years, they were in it together, and during the months Mulder had been gone, we all know he will eventually come back and M and S will be together, even if they are not romantically involved. But in season 9 they'll be there, but not in the episodes and I think it will be hard for me to go back to watching just for the Xfiles.

I think I will only watch it if, like Stardoe said, we know M and S are looking after the baby and are happy.

I remember halfway through the fourth season (when it was still suppost to be ending after the fifth season) trying to imagine how it would finish.
I thought in the last episode Scully would be told her cancer was in remission, and then it would end with M and S kissing outside at night, under the stars.I love happy endings!
