Subject: Weird convergence of three of my all-time favorite shows

I know a lot of people on these boards were fans of the 80s TV shows "Moonlighting" and "Remington Steele" so I wanted to share a really weird convergence of all three shows that I witnessed recently. My hubby and I were watching a rerun of "Remington Steele" and the case was very X-Filey. (For those of you who are not familiar with "RS", the main characters were Remington and Laura and they generally investigated mysteries with no hints of the supernatural — murders, jewel robberies, insurance scams and things like that.)
In this particular case, Remington and Laura were investigating a series of murders that seemed to have been committed by a ghost. Remington was even playing the Mulder role, insisting that they had to at least consider the possiblity that they really *WERE* dealing with something supernatural, while Laura was out-Scullying Scully, saying it couldn't be a ghost, because ghosts don't exist. Laura turned out to be right; it was all an elaboate hoax.
The "Moonlighting" connection came in because the guest star who asked them to investigate the murders was the woman who played Ms. Dipesto (I think that was her name) the secretary on "Moonlighting"!
BTW, If I'm not on the boards as much as I usually am for the next few days, it's because we had an ice storm and the power is knocked out at my house. Right not I'm at work, but only 'til noon. Canadians are free to laught at how little it takes to knock out power down here in Texas. I'm sure the Californians and Australians will understand!
