Quite a daring role for David when he appeared as a woman in one of his first significant television appearances. I remember how vulnerable Denise was and how Agent Cooper was really understanding and sympathetic towards her/him, even though he remembered Dennis! We might say that this ability to play an off-the-wall character helped DD considerably when he auditioned for TXF. I hope we get to see Twin Peaks II again, here in the UK....
