another possibility for when they conceived the baby would be during the "two weeks" between the time Mulder got out of the hospital and returned to work in "Brand X". I still think they consumated their relationship during "all things", but Scully wouldn't have necessarily conceived the first night they made love. Speaking as a woman who's been pregnant three times, I'd have to say that the timespan between "Brand X" and "Requiem" comes closest to the timespan it generally takes most women to tumble to the fact that they're pregnant. However, since Scully had been told it was "impossible" for her to have children, it's understandable that she might not immediately think she was pregnant, even when she was having some of the usual symptoms that most women associate with pregnancy.
