I totally agree with those of you that think Diana shouldn't have been offed. What a cheap shot, IMHO. She deserved better as a character, and the series deserved better than having her die ambiguously off screen. It even reeks of plot contrivance: get rid of her so we (the writers) can turn up the heat - as we (the viewers) have seen in this new season between Scully and Mulder.

tisk tisk. Guess we'll never know why she took her blouse off in Mulder's apt now..
