First of all, I'm not a big fan of the last scene. Putting her in the hostpital was supposed to lead the fans to wonder if she was seriously sick again, but I don't feel that idea was played out enough to be believable. When Requiem first aired, I thought that it seemed pretty weak for Scully to be crying about Mulder being abducted while she sits on her butt in the hostpital. She's sick? So what! Mulder ran off to Antarctica after her after being shot in the HEAD. The scene would have been more powerful if she were in Mulder's appartment or in the office or anywhere where it looks like she's making attempt to find him, as she says she so desperately needs to.

I have no trouble believing that CC hoarded his precious pregnancy bombshell and didn't reveal it to GA until that day. I also have no trouble believing that CC doesn't know what the heck he wants to do with that child next season. Well, I'm sure he has some idea, but I'm sure Baby!Arc is still in progress.

I don't think that Requiem could have ended with just "I have to." The scene definitely begged something more, but it doesn't seem incongrous for GA to have known about the line all along or for her to have only found out the day it was added. I don't think the events before suggest either option.
